Rewind. Repeat. Bloggers Around the World – Germany

I’m not sure whether I asked you before: Do you sometimes have déjà vus? By that I don’t mind whether you want to take the blue or the red pill, nor do I know myself whether I have alluded to that one on a previous occasion in the near past. It is also not my intend to suggest your brain is in any way defective. Well, if all this sounds like nonsense to you, simply ignore this paragraph and proceed with paragraph two.

The time is ripe to resurrect the Bloggers Around the World challenge from its cold and dark grave, heat things up again. First of all, I like to start the same way as with the first time (here you go: déjà vu) …

… yes, we like to start all over again with …

That’s right: Rewind. Repeat. Bloggers Around the World – Germany. So, if you didn’t succeed the first time (that isn’t didn’t find the opportunity to participate), now is your chance to do so. Shall I go through all this Bratwurst and Sauerkraut and Blackforest thingy talk again?

No, I don’t think so. Maybe, you try Currywurst or whip something up with some famous German beer or have some Knödel, a Bretzn, or simply use your imagination. You only should be able to sell it to me, somehow.

Fine, stop complaining, here a bit inspiration …

Along the line of Bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes) I have something for you (can’t go very wrong with potatoes) …

Bacon wrapped potatoes

I am not sure, what it was, though, exactly. It’s some kind of fried potatoes wrapped in bacon. Some cheese might be involved with that as well and … my father used to have Bratkartoffeln a lot, maybe not this way, but you get an idea.

Then, you might remember some of the lovely things you already saw here in this blog like …

Käsespätzle …

Blackforest Gateaux Pudding (yes, sorry, we couldn’t do without) …
Zwiebelkuchen …

I am sure, now you got the gist of it …

Wait, I reckon we still have to set out the usual (blah blah blah) rules … eh … kind of. Here we go with the top 5 rules …

5. The post has to fit the theme.
4. You need to put a link to this challenge into your post.
3. The ‘Bloggers Around the World’-badge is to occur in the post.
2. You leave a comment here with the link to your post.
1. Have fun!

Got it? For sure you do. So, grab a badge and come along …

… until the month of May is over. Then I will definitely prepare the round-up. Well then, spread the word, so we can have some fun again together.

May this be the dawning of … eh … something … eh … again … déjà vu … Rewind. Repeat. Bloggers Around the World – Germany … yes, dawning …

  1. Yay – I’m so glad this is back. I need a challenge to get me blogging again. Hmm, what to make… I must admit that Blackforest Gateaux was a favourite of mine as a child. 😀

    • I am happy to help. Well, I hope, it helps me doing a slightly bit more as well. I am looking forward to your post.

  2. Hurrah, good to see bloggers around the world back again. Will try and get something German made before the end of May :-)

    • To get back into the routine we have some extra days we won’t have for the next challenge then. Looks like, we are all going to have some fun here.

  3. What a coincidence! I literally just posted a post about Pflaumenkuchen! I’ll add your badge to my post. 😀

    Yay, I’m in early!
